About GivingTuesday Indonesia
In March 2023, Indonesia was officially joining the global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity as part of GivingTuesday. Despite having only a few volunteers, this movement grew with strong determination to spread kindness throughout the nation.
From the very beginning, GivingTuesday Indonesia emphasized pure humanitarian values, inviting people to share love and compassion with others. Though the number of volunteers was limited, their unwavering enthusiasm never waned. They understood that even small acts of kindness could have a significant impact on those in need.
At the heart of the movement lies the spirit of generosity, encompassing various forms of goodness. Volunteers engaged in initiatives such as providing financial support for underprivileged children’s education, dedicating their time to assist homeless shelters, or offering food assistance to families in need. Every action, no matter how small, brought hope and happiness to many.
